MARALYNE POWELL – BIO

I live in La Conner, Washington, with my husband Tracy.

Together we operate POWELL STUDIOS.

I have been a PORTRAIT - FINE ART Photographer for about 12 years.

I really enjoy photographing people. I find the interaction with my clients quite enjoyable! I strive to capture their individual personalities and hope to make an honest representation of each person.

My favorite clients to photograph are high school seniors and children.

With my fine art photography, I enjoy capturing images that are a record of something special. It might be

Photographing an occurrence - in time- that I see as significant, and may never see again.

Or maybe just something as simple as a flower that has just started to bloom or maybe one that has started to fade, but still so delicate and beautiful - something that most may not notice, as they go on with their busy lives.

I am currently a member of the Seattle Professional Photographers Association.
