SLOW DANCEThis sculpture has been on public display at Westcott Bay Reserve Sculpture Park at Roche Harbor for two years. It has recently been purchased by a lovely couple, and now lives with them at their home, also on San Juan Island. Please visit the park to see what new sculpture pops up to replace it. This piece is hand carved Indiana limestone, 7ft high, weighing about 2 tons. It is the culmination of a design process that began about 10 years ago in a small wood carving. It is about romance, about growing together, about the way we draw nourishment from Mother Earth, about the Circle of Life within which we all dance.
